15.0 > Development > mingw-w64-binutils (2.46.1)

mingw-w64-binutils provides GNU assembler, linker, and related binary
utilities targeting 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. The installed program
prefixes are i686-w64-mingw32- and x86_64-w64-mingw32-.

The target-prefixed commands are available in /usr/bin. Their private
programs and target data are stored below
/usr/libexec/mingw-w64-binutils, so the package does not create
nonstandard target directories directly below /usr.

This package does not replace or conflict with Slackware's native GNU
binutils package.

It is a required build-time and run-time dependency of fpc-mingw-w64.
Build and install mingw-w64-binutils before building fpc-mingw-w64.
