libmpu (multiple precision arithmetic library)
LibMPU is a multiple precision arithmetic library implementing a
software mathematical processor with integer, real, and complex
arithmetic. It provides processor-like arithmetic and logical
operations, shifts, rotations, comparisons, status flags, and high
precision mathematical and transcendental functions.
LibMPU supports configurable operand sizes ranging from native machine
widths to very large integer, real, and complex numbers. Each thread
has its own MPU execution context and processor state.
LibMPU is written in C and is designed for numerical applications,
emulators, virtual machines, calculators, and scientific software.
This SlackBuild enables real mathematical functions for operand sizes
up to 16384 bits and builds shared libraries only.
