gping displays ping times for multiple hosts as a terminal graph. It can
also graph TCP connection times and command execution times.
Building requires rust-opt (locked dependencies require Rust 1.88 or
newer). Dependencies are supplied in a vendor archive and compilation
does not require network access. Rust is not required at runtime.
ICMP mode uses the ping utility supplied with Slackware. Run gping as
your normal user. If ICMP probing fails, check that ping itself works
for that user rather than changing gping's permissions.
Examples:
gping 127.0.0.1
gping --tcp --tcp-port 443 example.org
gping --cmd 'sleep 0.1'
The default TCP mode counts a refused connection as a response. Use
--tcp-rst drop when you only want successful connections counted.
Use --simple-graphics if your terminal cannot display braille
characters.
See gping(1) and /usr/doc/gping-<version>/ for details.
