aMule is a multiplatform ed2k client, fork of the eMule client, using
the wxWidgets class library. It was originally forked from the xMule
project, which in turn was forked from the lMule project. This is
turn was the first fork of eMule to run nativly on Linux and other
Unix-like systems.
libupnp is a optional dependency.
You can build optional features of aMule with following variables:

WXCAS=yes - wxcas — GUI statistics tool
FILEVIEW=yes - fileview — console file viewer (experimental)
TESTING=yes - Unit test suite
NLS=yes - Native-language support (gettext)
UPNP=yes - UPnP port forwarding
IP2COUNTRY=yes - IP→country mapping (libmaxminddb)
MMAP=yes - Use memory-mapped file I/O where supported
This requires: wxWidgets, libayatana-appindicator, cmake-opt
