ungoogled-chromium-bin packages a contributor-built portable Linux
release of ungoogled-chromium for x86_64. These binaries are not built
or authenticated by the upstream project. No compilation is required.
The browser is installed under /opt/ungoogled-chromium-bin/. The
/usr/bin/ungoogled-chromium launcher runs the bundled chrome-wrapper.
A desktop entry and icon are included. Run it as a normal user.
The archive does not include a setuid sandbox helper. On the
maintainer's Slackware64 15.0 system, Chromium uses PID and network
namespaces and Seccomp-BPF, and reports adequate sandboxing. Check
chrome://sandbox on your system. Do not use --no-sandbox for normal
browsing.
Widevine DRM is not included.
