SlackBuilds Repository

15.0 > System > sbo-create (2.2.0)

sbo-create is a command-line tool for creating and maintaining
SlackBuilds.org packages. It covers the entire package lifecycle
from file generation to submission.

- Generates .SlackBuild, .info, slack-desc and README from official SBo
templates; supports interactive mode with arrow-key template selection.
- Validates .info fields, MD5SUMs, REQUIRES dependencies and SBo submission
guidelines, with auto-fix for common issues.
- Bumps version, updates DOWNLOAD URLs, re-downloads sources and recomputes
MD5 checksums in one step.
- Fetches packages from the SBo repository or a local clone; shows unified
diffs, browses and reads individual files.
- Resolves recursive dependencies and reverse dependencies (rdeps) using the
local package index or a local SBo clone.
- Packages for submission and submits via git commit/push or the SBo web form.
- Queries repology.org for package version status by maintainer e-mail.
- Syncs the local SBo git repository and manages working branches.
