bluplay (terminal music player for BluOS streamers)
bluplay is a small, dependency-free, keyboard-driven terminal UI that
talks to a BluOS player (Bluesound, NAD, ...) over its HTTP API on the
LAN. Browse the player's local music library by album or folder and
manage the play queue. No streaming services, no radio. It needs no
libraries beyond libc and draws its own UI with ANSI/VT100 escapes.
The player is found automatically via mDNS (built in), or set it in
~/.config/bluplay/config:
host = 192.168.1.50
Optional: avahi (available on SlackBuilds.org) provides avahi-browse,
which bluplay uses as a discovery fallback if its own mDNS query gets
no answer. It is not needed when the host is configured.
